Raising Healthy, Resilient Children Starts With How Parents Live.
I help parents model the health, balance, and resilience they want for their children - through example, consistency, and intentional daily rhythms.
I offer coaching-based support for parents, grounded in years of pediatric experience and life coaching training, helping you parent with clarity, confidence, and intention.
The Confident Parenting Reset
A gentle 9-page reflection designed to help you feel seen in your parenting - and notice what feels steady and what may need support.
I work with parents who want to raise healthy, resilient children by becoming more intentional in how they live, lead, and care for themselves and their families.
Whether you’re preparing for your first child or navigating the evolving seasons of parenting, our work focuses on daily rhythms, habits, and values. And on understanding what children need at each stage of development.
Through coaching, reflection, and small sustainable shifts, I help parents build clarity, confidence, and consistency. Wellbeing becomes something children experience, not something they’re told about.
Who I Work With and
What We Focus On…
About Dr Gary
Hi, I’m Gary Podhaisky, a parenting and whole-life coach who works with parents seeking calm, clarity, and confidence in how they live and lead their families.
I believe that the foundation of healthy, resilient children is not found in perfect strategies, but in the daily rhythms, consistency, and examples set by the adults who care for them.
For nearly 30 years, I walked alongside families through every season of childhood as a pediatrician. That experience gave me a deep understanding of child health and development and it also showed me something essential: parents need space to slow down, reflect, and lead with intention in their own homes.

Why I Do This Work
I’ve sat with parents in moments of fear, exhaustion, joy, and uncertainty. Over time, I’ve learned that what most parents want is someone who doesn’t tell them what to do but someone who truly sees them, listens deeply, and helps them reconnect with their own values and instincts.
Parenting today carries immense pressure: conflicting information, constant comparison, and the feeling that there’s always something more to optimize. My work helps parents step out of that noise and return to what actually sustains family life across each stage of childhood.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. But you do get to choose how you show up, what you model, and what kind of family culture you’re creating.

What Parents Are Saying…
Real stories from parents who found calm, clarity, and confidence.
“As a first-time mom, the early weeks felt overwhelming until I started talking with Dr. Gary. His gentle guidance helped me feel calmer, more confident, and truly supported. Instead of Googling every worry, I could ask him real questions and get clear, reassuring answers. I’m so grateful for how he helped me feel grounded during such a vulnerable time.”
— Sophie, Nebraska
"As a first time young mom, I truly appreciated Dr. Podhaisky's ability to be both direct and genuinely honest with me. He always took the time to explain things in a clear way and I never left an appointment feeling confused or unsure.
My kids absolutely loved him, he had a way of putting them at ease while still slipping in little lessons for them during each visit. I often left wishing the appointments were longer simply because of how valuable his insight and guidance were.
Dr Podhaisky made a meaningful impact on our family and I'm grateful my children were able to be in his care.”
— Lacy Family, Washington
"Navigating parenthood as a first time mom can feel overwhelming and isolating.
When I started going to Dr. Podhaisky, I could immediately tell that he truly listens and cares. He makes you feel acknowledged, supported, understood, and never rushed. His calm, reassuring presence always put me at ease, and I always appreciated how honest and straightforward he was with me. I'm genuinely excited to see him bring that same level of care, compassion, and expertise into his mentoring, consulting and coaching supporting parents. I truly couldn't recommend him more.”
— Meyer family, Washington
“Dr. P has been a major influence on my growth as a parent. With both of my children, he never just treated the visit. He took the time to teach, explain, and made sure my husband and I truly understood what was going on and why it mattered.
What sets Dr. P apart is his depth of knowledge and genuine passion for educating parents. He meets you where you are, explains things in a way that makes sense, and truly wants parents to feel confident caring for their children.”
